Q: The movie is in English, can I get it in another language?
A: Yes, we also provide movies in Spanish, Italian and French.
Q: Do your movies work on Mac?
A: Why shouldn't they? You can watch them on your Mac using Apple QuickTime Player, MPlayer, VideoLAN VLC media player, Light Alloy, etc. No problems.
Q: I've just selected a movie. How do I go about downloading now?
A: It's simple. You may download it in two ways: by clicking the link with the name of the movie or by cutting and pasting the URL given in the box.
Q: I am trying to download a Hi-Def movie using Internet Explorer but an error pops up.
A: You cannot download files more than 4 gigabytes in size with Internet Explorer. Using FlashGet download manager will solve the problem.
Q: How do I use FlashGet?
A: Once you've downloaded FlashGet, right-click the link in your History and then click "Download with FlashGet". Choose the folder in which you want to save the file and click "OK".
Q: I am a little frustrated with your whole download procedure. Is it normal that the downloading process took me 3 hours to download! Please advise.
A: A normal movie takes only about 60 to 120 minutes. Download time depends on the size of the file, your equipment and the speed of your Internet connection. Note that Hi-Def movies usually take longer to download. We strongly recommend that you use FlashGet or Folx download manager which you can find in the Help section of the website. It will give you better speed and it will be able to resume downloads if they stall.
Q: I have downloaded some movies. But where are they? I can't find the movies I downloaded to my PC even though the message said the downloads were complete. How do I get to them?
A: Whatever software you used to download movies, it asked where you want them saved before download began. To find a missing file, you can try using the Search feature located under the Start menu in Windows or the Finder feature on a Mac computer. If you fail to find files on your computer, you can redownload them from the History. When you download files, please select the folder where you want to save them.
Q: I want to download a certain movie, but when I click on the title, I get redirected to the website's main page or an error pops up. Why is that?
A: This usually means that the movie file is temporarily unavailable and will be uploaded in a few days or weeks.
Q: Movies don't have sound! What's wrong?
A: One of the most common reasons for audio missing from playback with files is that the audio is in AC3 format and you do not have an AC3 Filter installed. If you are running Microsoft Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista, please download and install the codec pack from the Help section of the website. If you happen to be a Mac user, you have to update the Perian components for QuickTime which is also available in the Help section.
Q: The movie consists of three parts. How can I merge them into a single file?
A: You can merge two or more video files together using VirtualDub, a freeware program available here: http://virtualdub.org/ You can also use video player that supports playlists (VLC, LightAlloy). Home video players switch between files automatically if files are in the same folder.
Q: How do I burn your files onto a CD\DVD?
A: There are many different software programs you can use to copy a movie to a CD\DVD. When you burn files onto a DVD using Nero, burn them as regular data files, do not choose "DVD Video" media type when asked. Use "ISO DVD" or "Data DVD" instead. Your player must support MPEG4/DivX/XviD video playback.
Q: I successfully downloaded a couple of movies but when I try to play them on my PC they won't work for some reason...
A: You may be missing the codec for the files or they may have been corrupted while downloading. We recommend that you use VLC media player which should play movies without any codecs and it's one way to test if you have a codec problem. You can download VLC media player from the Help section of the site.
Q: I want to watch movies on my iPod. What do I need to do?
A: If you only want to watch movies on your iPod, iPhone or BlackBerry, you'd better choose the iPod movie version which is an MP4 file, otherwise you'll have to convert DVD, DivX, PDA and Hi-Def versions manually for them to be playable on your portable device.
Q: I'm trying to copy a movie to my external HDD and the file just won't transfer. Why?
A: Because the external drive is formated as a FAT32 drive which has a 4G file size limitation. This file system doesn't support files larger than 3.9Gb. You need to either reformat the drive to NTFS or split the movie into smaller parts.
